No habla español? ;-) Here are some of the terms in our menu explained.
| Aguadito | Peruvian rice soup laced with coriander and pieces of corn on the cob |
| Anticuchos | Marinated beef heart chunks grilled in a special in-house sauce and served in a skewer. (Anticuchos recipe) |
| Arroz | Rice |
| Bistek (or bistec) | Beef steak pronounced by Spanish speaking people :-) |
| Calamar | Calamari |
| Camarones | Shrimp |
| Carne | Meat (Usually beef) |
| Ceviche | Seafood marinated in lemon juice |
| Chancho | Pork |
| Chicha Morada | A refreshing traditional purple Peruvian corn drink. |
| Chuleta | Pork chop |
| Churrasco | T bone steak |
| Crema Volteada | Spanish flan (dessert) |
| Encebollado | Covered with onions (cebollas) |
| Escabeche de pollo | A classic Peruvian dish made with fried chicken breast, marinated in a tangy sauce, served with sweet potatoes, and rice. |
| Estofado | Stew |
| Frijoles | Beans |
| Huancaina | Creamy cheese and yellow hot pepper sauce to put over potatoes

And finally "propina" means "tip", as in the one waiters are hoping to get! :-)
